(NASDAQ:JCS), today announced the introduction of a new series of network interface cards designed to support the PCI Express 1.0 (PCIe) expansion bus. The addition of these new PCIe adapters rounds out the Transition Networks portfolio of network Interface cards. With the new PCIe adapter, customers have more options to fulfill their fiber-to-the-desk requirements.

Product Features
The PCIe fiber NICs are available for either Fast Ethernet or Gigabit Ethernet networks. Users can choose between support for multimode fiber or single mode, as well as ST, SC, or LC fiber connectors.

The products ship with the standard and the low-profile brackets, integrated PXE and RPL Boot ROM, and software drivers for today's most popular operating systems. Other key features include support for Wake-on-LAN (WoL) and VLAN filtering packet processing, while the LED indicators (LINK/Act and FDX) on the bracket help oversee the board link, activities, and full-duplex status.
